2009 Fantasy Football Question

Since I’ve been spending way too much time with my fantasy football leagues lately, I thought I would ask a question to anyone else who is also obsessed.

For the 2009 fantasy football league season, who would be the top 5 picks?

Does the consensus 2008 #1 pick, LaDainian Tomlinson, make the list? How about Michael Turner? Feel free to include (or not include) an explanation of your top 5 in the comments. At the very least, enjoy the following Pearls Before Swine strip:

To be fair, here is my top five (in no particular order):

Adrian Peterson, Michael Turner, Thomas Jones, DeAngelo Williams and Brandon Jacobs

This list includes five of the top seven players in rushing yards and four of the top seven players in terms of touchdowns (Peterson is tied for 13th).

Id go with..
AP, no doubt.

Michael Turner, he gets 25 carries a game with a passing game in the mix he is a total monster.

Brian Westbrook, in ppr especially he scores most game via run or pass and gets over 100 total yards a game guaranteed.

Matt Forte, this kid is a monster catching passes and running. With his offense relying on the run so much he should get 30 touches a game (LED LEAGUE IN TOUCHES AS A ROOKIE).

DeAngelo Williams, it is a little scary drafting him without handcuffing with Stewart because Stewart's workload next season is going to go up.
