Lyric of the Week

Womanizer, woman-womanizer
You're a womanizer
Oh, womanizer, oh
You're a womanizer, baby

You, you, you are
You, you, you are
Womanizer, womanizer
Womanizer

Well said, Britney, well said.

P.S. Is it possible to use fewer words in a chorus?

P.P.S (or is it P.S.S.) This insightful and thought-provoking song really is catchy.

Well, there was MMMMbop and Menomena (the Sesame Street song which I may be misspelling). Those had fewer words but I agree Britney is working hard here. :)

And it is DAMN catchy. Some times it just loops and loops in my brain.

Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah...

Wow, now here's a trivia category. How many songs have only one word in them (or fewer than 3... or something). There's the above-mentioned "Tequila!". And then there's "Wipeout". Having a hard time coming up with more.

Gilahi - That's a great question. I assume we're excluding instrumental songs, right?

By the way, I think The Hustle (or Do the Hustle) only has three words.

lacochran - Britney has made a living off of catchy songs (and that hot/crazy thing).

Hey, it's our game. We can play it any way we want.

Disco could open up a whole list for us. "Ring my bell (my bell, ringa ringa ringa ringa)".

Mmmm mmmm mmmm mmmm by Crash Test Dummies.

Good song, though.

Great call Tecmo. The voice of the CTD's lead singer is very cool.

Gilahi - Good point. Maybe we should stay away from disco.
