Five Guys vs. In-N-Out

We've already considered one of the great debates of human history here at Sean's Ramblings, Wawa vs. Sheetz. Today, we need to solve another:

Five Guys

vs. In-N-Out

I'm not sure whether or not we can truly determine if one is better than the other, but that's where you come in. Please share your thoughts in the comment section.

I've eaten at each once and i'll go 5 Guys. I ate at an I&O a long time ago during a California road trip and I remember it being just fine but not all that impressive. 5 Guys was another story. The fries are as good as any I've ever had...and that's hard for a Pittsburgher to admit. And the burger was really good too.

The problem with Five Guys is that they have gone down the dark road of franchising. More easy licensing money = less control over the product.

I suspect that, in five years, In-n-Out will be the same as always while the bloom will be off the Five Guys rose.

Between these comments and those I received about this topic on Facebook, I think this is an East Coast-West Coast debate. INO is definitely favored among those on the left coast; Five Guys on the right side of the country.
