Choose Your Own (License Plate) Adventure
There's a car that I've seen in my neighborhood several times, and I've been curious about the meaning of this license plate:
Option 1: This person wants the world to know that he/she is a terrible golfer.
Option 2: He/she really liked the pop Slice.
Option 3: This person clearly works in catering and slices prime rib as part of the buffet.
Option 4: It's Dexter. Holy crap!
Option 5: Based on the Johns Hopkins license plate holder, the person is a surgeon, cutting for the very first time.
Option 6: Insert your own theory.

Random Ramblings Plus Links
If you happened to see a previous version of this post, you can thank Ziggy for stepping on the keyboard and somehow publishing this before I was finished.
- Why is it that whenever I burp my child, I end up burping myself?
- Speaking of burping, when my child burps, everyone cheers. If I burp, people stare and wonder what's wrong with me. This is a problem with society.
- We're almost finished with season four of Dexter, and season five isn't available yet on Netflix. Any recommendations on what to watch next? We're thinking about Arrested Development or Breaking Bad.

- Washington Redskins' WR Anthony Armstrong is spending the lockout as a volunteer youth soccer coach for 7 and 8 year-olds. [Washington Post]
- This could be the greatest children's book ever! [NPR]
- It's been fun following Nichole's 30-day song challenge. Day 6 = Bust a Move by Young MC! [Long and Winding Road]
Finally, ABC newscaster and Ithaca College graduate David Muir gave the commencement address at our alma mater.

My Netflix Dexter Problem
This is my current Netflix queue:
I rolled through the first 2+ seasons of Dexter and have hit a bit of a snag. By "bit of a snag," I mean that there is a very long wait for season 3, disc 2 of Dexter even though there is no wait for any other DVD in the series. My initial thought was that there is something so spectacular on this DVD that everyone wants to keep it. After talking to folks who have seen these episodes, that's not the case. When I called Netflix, they indicated that Dexter is a popular series. They didn't sufficiently answer the question as to why this DVD has a very long wait while the other ones have no wait at all.
It turns out that there have been similar problems with this particular DVD for years. Not cool, Netflix, not cool. Can't you just order a few more DVDs from Showtime?
