* With the wins by Helen Mirren, Martin Scorsese and "The Departed," I ended up going 6.5 out of 9 in my predictions. Not too shabby.
* I went to sleep just after the Dreamgirls performance of its three nominated songs. I'm sure that I was not the only person who was waiting for Beyoncé to sing, "To the left, to the left."
