While certainly not a surprise, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Bill Cowher will announce his retirement Friday. According to the article, "Cowher called Steelers chairman Dan Rooney this afternoon and said he did not want to wait any longer to announce his decision. Cowher was going to wait until Monday, but he did not want to delay the Steelers' search for his successor." I will definitely write more about this over the next few weeks.
