Congratulations Behind the Steel Curtain

After unofficially receiving the most votes in the history of the Best Pittsburgh Sports Blog Tournament, Behind the Steel Curtain earned its spot as the 2012 Best Pittsburgh Sports Blog! Behind the Steel Curtain now joins previous winners The Pensblog (2009), Bucs Dugout (2010) and Pirates Prospects (2011) on the Mount Rushmore of Pittsburgh sports blogs. More importantly, BTSC wins this fabulous trophy that I found on Google images.



I sincerely want to thank everyone for voting in this silly little tournament and for supporting some wonderful blogs. I also want to thank the blog writers for the time and energy spent to provide consistently enjoyable content. On a personal note, this tournament takes more time to organize than one would think. With that written, I truly enjoy the forum to promote some terrific blogs. Maybe next year, I can find some sponsors that want to reach the thousands of Pittsburgh sports blogs readers. I’m quite happy to sell out for the (for example) Heinz Best Pittsburgh Sports Blog Tournament!
