Does Jim Shearer ever rest? Although the Steelers season is over, he's back with Yinz Luv Da Guins. His field trip to see the Penguins practice in Central Park turned out great. Must see video (starting around the 12:30 mark).

Friday Videos
The end of the Steelers season brings us one last Yinz Luv Da Stillers. Jim Shearer does/did an amazing job of putting these videos together each week.
With the football season complete, we now turn our attention in the sports world to college basketball. Quietly, George Mason has a very good team this year. This video attempts to make the season a little louder. Go Mason!

Housekeeping: Steelers, Groundhog Day and More
Happy Groundhog Day everyone! I say this every year, but I'm really going to make it Punxsutawney someday.
* I received the following e-mail from TMZ:
Reaching out to you to see if you know of any die hard, fanatical Steeler fans doing anything outrageous for the Super Bowl. Let me know if you know of anyone doing anything outrageous as we get ready to take on GB.
Well, I plan on watching the game at my friends' house while wearing my Louis Lipps jersey and holding my Terrible Towel. I'm sure that I'll also have some food and drink. I think I am the perfect candidate for TMZ! If you are doing something slightly crazier than me, let me know (my e-mail is seanramblings at yahoo[dot]com), and I'll connect you with TMZ.
* I'm working on a post for tomorrow (Thursday) that will show Steeler fans' superstitions. If you'd like to participate, please contact me at my e-mail address above, and I'll send you more information.
* I realize that this story has been everywhere, but I wanted to share it here too. I think I need to get a Terrible Towel for my kid when he arrives in a few months.
* Wiz Khalifa has a deal with Eyetique. $10,000 for sunglasses seems a little much though. (Written by someone who won't spend more than $10 for sunglasses which might be why he doesn't currently own a pair since they generally break or get lost.)
* You still have time to enter my new giveaway for a $45 gift certificate to one of the CSN stores. Click here to enter or simply scroll down to my Monday post.
* Finally, here is your latest Yinz Luv Da Stillers.

Two Videos
My post titles are becoming less and less imaginative. Anyway, I really want to write a recap from attending the Pitt-Georgetown game on Wednesday night, but I haven't had the time. Maybe next week. Instead, here are (yes, you guessed it) TWO VIDEOS.
The first video is "Hot Mess" by what I think is a soon to be major band, Chromeo. Perhaps they are already big, but I just learned of them. The video has a bit of a Robert Palmer vibe going.
The second video is Jim Shearer's latest Yinz Luv Da Stillers. The last twenty seconds may be the best work Jim has ever done.

Yinz Luv The Maccabeats
This is the second post in three days that is going to attempt to link Hanukkah/Chanukkah and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I recently (as in last night) learned of Yeshiva University's acapella group The Maccabeats. Check out their take on Taio Cruz's Dynamite. They are really good.
Speaking of Hanukkah, Sarah is giving away great prizes for each day of Hanukkah. Yesterday's prize was a Sony 300 Pocket. Make sure to enter for whatever she is giving away for the last two days of Hanukkah. [Smart Bitches, Trashy Books]
Of course, Hanukkah wouldn't be festive without a Steelers win. Enjoy the latest Yinz Luv Da Stillers video.
Trivia Tuesday may still appear today, but there might be a Trivia Wednesday instead this week.

YLDS vs. Benstonium
I've hosted the Best Pittsburgh Sports Blog Tournament the past few years, and plan to hold the 3rd annual contest in February. Although they are not bloggers, I've always wondered how Jim Shearer and Yinz Luv Da Stillers/Yinz Luv Da Guins and Benstonium would fare in a competition between the two prominent Pittsburgh sports video makers. Well, we don't have to decide. Simply watch their latest videos below and enjoy!
I really need to get back to Pittsburgh to check out this exhibit!
Update: I deleted Benstonium's video from this post because I think it was messing up my cookies. Now that's a phrase that had a different meaning 15 years ago. Anyway, while it like it user error, I encourage you to check out the video on Benstonium's website.

Housekeeping
Time to get caught up on a few things.
1. There will be a major announcement on Sean’s Ramblings next week. I hope that you won’t spend the entire Thanksgiving weekend thinking about what I may write.
2. The winner of the Brand New Contest is:
Congratulations to Messiah, who provided comment #2. Thanks to everyone for entering and providing suggestions about places to go for a weekend vacation. Thanks to CSNStores.com for providing this great contest. CSNStores sites are offering exclusive "Black Friday" deals that have already started and will run as long as supplies last. Please make check out their deals on CSN sites such as Every Game Room, Toys & Games Online and Fitness Equipment & More.
3. Thanks to Ile de France for sending me a package Camembert cheese. I haven’t had any yet, but I plan on bringing it as a Thanksgiving appetizer. Remember you can’t say Camembert without Ile de France. (There’s no chance that Ile de France uses this slogan, but I think it is quite catchy.)
4. Since I’m participating in NaBloPoMo, National Blog Posting Month, I’ll be posting here tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and for every day in November. After spending hours at Black Friday sales, stop over to see what’s new in my world.
5. Bat-Bat is back on the latest Yinz Luv Da Stillers:

Two Steelers Related Videos
For folks that could care less about my continuous quest of finding mistakes in the local newspaper, I present two videos related to the Pittsburgh Steelers. First, I am happy to present Jim Shearer's latest Yinz Luv Da Stillers.
The second video is a child giving the weather report at a Baltimore TV station. He also happens to be a Steelers fan (starting around the 2:50 mark). [h/t PSAMP]

Yinz Luv Daylight Savings
I hope that you enjoyed the fall back portion of daylight savings and were able to take advantage of the extra hour. To celebrate this one day a year event, check out the first Yinz Luv Da Guins video of the season and the Halloween edition of Yinz Luv Da Stillers. (Please click the link so Jim can get closer to 1,500 video views.)
The videos have nothing to do with turning your clocks back, but Jim Shearer deserves his own post for all of his hard work.

Yinz Luv Da Stillers
I like Jim Shearer. He agreed to participate in an interview with me last year, and I think that his Yinz Luv Da Stillers & Yinz Luv Da Guins videos are great. I'm not sure about VH1's decision to increase their weekly Top 20 Video Countdown from 2 to 2 & 1/2 hours, but if that means more exposure (and possibly more money) for Jim, then I'm all for it.
Therefore, while I don't want to relive Sunday's Steelers-Ravens game, it's always worthwhile to share Jim's work. Enjoy this week's YLDS:

Steelers Bar Finder App
I don’t own an iPhone, an iPad, an iPod or any other type of iProduct. However, I think I may get one simply to get Pittsburgh Steeler Sports Bar app available here.
This is a description of the app from its creator, MapMuse:
Steelers fans find a home in bars across the country on game day and beyond. Now with one easy-to-use app, you can find sports bars across the United States that are home to fellow Steelers fans. Simply enter a location or choose your current location to find Pittsburgh Steelers sports bars and pubs in the area, and an interactive map will tell you everything you need to know. Up to 500 places can be displayed on the map at the same time making it very easy to find places to catch a game in any city, metro area, state, region, or even another country. Scroll the map and the places are automatically updated with no need to enter a new location.
In addition to viewing Pittsburgh Steeler Sports Bars information you can add ratings and reviews and submit photos for any place displayed on the map.
Granted, I don’t really need an app to tell me that the best place to watch a Steelers game in the DC area is the Pour House with the DC Steeler Nation Fan Club (even if I rarely make it there).
Unrelated to the app, check out the latest Yinz Luv 'Da Stillers:

Random Ramblings
I may have some OCD tendencies. I must have the dishes and cups organized in a certain fashion in the dishwasher with no two items (besides silverware) touching. I also tend to eat only one thing on my plate at a time. For example, I’ll eat an entire burger, then the pickle and then the fries unless I make a conscious effort to mix it up.
Brian, the author of the fantastic Pittsburgh Pirates blog Raise the Jolly Roger as well as a systems engineering student shared a homework assignment including the following question:
Picard, Data, Wesley, and Troi are playing poker. Each makes a statement, listed below. Place these statements in order of high to low information content, and explain your reasoning:
(a) Picard: “I have three of a kind.”
(b) Data: “I have three kings.”
(c) Wesley: “I have a royal flush.”
(d) Troi: “I sense hostility.”
I have some problems with this question. First, I would be uncomfortable playing poker with folks name Picard, Data and Troi with an “i.” Actually, I’ll leave my concern with that since I just conducted a Google search to find someone with a first name of Troi only to discover that Troi (and the rest of these characters) are from Star Trek. Anyway, Wesley must be the correct answer since a royal flush is the best possible poker hand.
Facebook is terrific. I learned yesterday that Jordin Sparks was in the office of one of my friends recently and that another friend knows someone who was in a carpool with Prince Poppycock, a finalist on America's Got Talent, when they were kids.
Finally, here is your first Yinz Luv 'Da Stillers of the 2010 season:

Book Signing and Saturday Videos
First of all, join Tim Gleason, author of From Black to Gold along with Andy Russell and Jim Wexell from 11-2 today at North Shore Saloon (208 Federal Street; right across from PNC Park) for a book signing. Please make sure you thank him for appearing on Sean's Ramblings!
As for the videos, here is the first Yinz Luv 'Da Stillers video for the 2010 season:
