I seriously did not know that you were supposed to eat apples and honey to celebrate the new year. This dude from Israel told me today and I was like, "Wha...?" I blame my parents.
I'm sure there is more to it, but I remember learning in Sunday school that the apples and honey represent a sweet new year.
