When I first heard Disturbed's cover of Simon and Garfunkel's classic song "The Sound of Silence," my initial reaction was what the heck* is this? Now that I've heard it a few more times, it's really grown on me. This version is a bit haunting but with the same outstanding lyrics from 50 years ago. So now, here's Disturbed with my all-time favorite 2016 cover of a song from 1964.
* I used a word other than heck.
