Although most of the recent NSync news has focused on Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake has a new song out called "Sexy Back." It has a great beat and a cool video, but I heard the song on the radio today and realized that there are virtually no lyrics. The song has three verses with four lines each and a bridge, but most of the song is JT singing "Go ahead, be gone with it." It doesn't make any sense. I'm starting to miss the days of insightful lyrics from songs like "My Humps" and "Hollaback Girl."
I'm starting to miss the days of "Cry Me a River." This is not good. We should be listening to Nelly Furtado instead.
ReplyDeleteNick, I agree with you completely. I like Timbaland and the work he has done with Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliot, etc. in the past. Therefore, I'm going to give him credit for the beat and blame JT for the lyrics.
