I really need some suggestions for good books to read. I finished The Washingtonienne (I'll give a review of this later) and am currently on the waiting list for two books at the library, The Education of a Coach by David Halberstam and The Scorpion’s Gate by Richard Clarke. In the meantime, I have a book by Walter Cronkite (because I was embarrassed to check out The Washingtonette by itself) and a Kurt Vonnegut book which I should finish in a few days.
Please, please, please give me some book suggestions. Thanks!
You may want to check out Iron City author Stewart O'Nan. He wrote the bestseller Faithful about baseball. Or if your into politico, Parliament of Whores by PJ O'Rourke.
ReplyDeleteWatch more TV. You're making me feel bad about my lack of productivity. :)
ReplyDeleteDan, if it makes you feel better I watch plenty of TV and play XBox nightly at home. All of my reading is during my commute to and from work on the bus and Metro.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the commute! I forgot you have that. That makes me feel better. I could read during my commute, but the other drivers on the Parkway East might not like it. :)
