Orient Watch USA Giveaway

The amazing folks at Orient Watch USA are giving away this incredible watch valued at $225 to one of my readers.

(I highly encourage you to click on the link simply so you can see the video of the watch features that includes amazing footage of a hand model that rivals George Costanza.)

To enter the contest, please leave a note in the comments section below with your brief thoughts on the Pittsburgh Pirates and whether you feel they will make the playoffs. Even if you have no opinion of the Pittsburgh Pirates, share something about pirates in general.

One comment/entry per person. Please enter by 8:00 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, July 23rd, and I will use Random.org to choose a winner. This contest is open to folks living in the U.S. only. (Update: While I probably know most of you that enter, please make sure there is a way for me to reach you if you win.)

This is probably the best giveaway I've ever offered had on this blog (or off of this blog), so I'm very grateful to Orient Watch USA for this wonderful opportunity.

In addition, while you are all winners, only one of you will win the watch. For everyone else, type blogger30 as a coupon code so that you get 30% off any Orient Watch.

Update: Congratulations to tecmo for winning the watch. Tecmo entered the fourth comment.

I'll be in touch. Thanks again to everyone for entering!

I trust that the Mayans were visionary and that the world will end later this year. Therefore I believe that the Pirates will make the playoffs...and then life as we know it will cease. :)

I did not realize the Pirates were still a team. Best of luck to them. Underdog (remember that show) always has a shot.

I think they look stronger than in recent years when they were doing well at the midpoint .The slide after the all-star break was concerning, bu tI think they will make it as either the division winner or a wildcard.

Yes they will make the playoffs.

I remember meeting Orlando Merced at the local Giant Eagle and getting his autograph. Pretty amazing experience for an 11 year old. Or I just lead a sheltered childhood.

Let's Go Bucs!

In true City of Champ-yinz fashion, the Buccos will win the World Series, followed by SB Ring #7 for the Stillers, and Sir Stanley will come home to the Burgh. Just call me Nostradamus.

I hope the Pirates at least make it interesting in September so that maybe I'll watch a game or two. No playoffs, but yes to over .500 finally!

Is there a age you have to be to enter for a pirate watch. Arrrrr... Aiden.

The Pirates are going to finish the season above .500 this year, which will surprise many, and then go on to win the bronze medal in the men's synchronized 3m springboard competition in the olympics. This will surprise considerably more people.

Give me a watch.

I'm very proud and surprised by them. Kutch is definitely an MVP candidate. Go Bucs!

Trying not to get my hopes up until September, but it's getting hard to not be excited about what they're doing!!!

We like Jake and the Neverland Pirates...don't know much about the other Pirates chances except that all sorts of people are wearing 'Z' shirts these days!

It's strange to have the Pirates as the best team in Pennsylvania. cpmunden cadencewatch.com

I'm a much bigger Steelers and Penguins fan, but the irony is that I've only seen the Pirates play in person.

My dad and I and a family friend got tickets to opening day in 2000 - the last year at Three Rivers Stadium. It got rained out, but I still remember the bucket of chicken wings that we got there as maybe the best I've ever had. We went back a few days later and saw the Pirates drill the Astros 10-1 or something. I just remember that they scored enough for us to take our tickets to Modell's and get a discount on all of the dumbest crap an 11 year old could possibly want.

I think it is great that the Pirates are doing so well. I hear a lot of talk about, "Jumping on the bandwagon," but I think that the outpouring of support is great. It shows the owners that the fans are willing to go to games and support our team when they are willing to spend money to improve our team. I'm thinking this just might be the year we make it to the playoffs!
