Trivia Tuesday: Alphabet Edition

I never watched 24, but it seemed like most of the commercials for the show featured Kiefer Sutherland yelling that “There’s no time.” That’s how I feel about the introduction this week…There’s no time!!!

Listed below is a word that matches the phonetic spelling for a letter of the alphabet. Your challenge is to provide the word, not the letter.

1. Carrot pal

2. Red is one

3. How come?

4. Female merino

5. A line of people

6. Sacramento’s daily

7. It may have floaters.

8. Darjeeling or Ceylon

9. Fonzie’s catchphrase

10. The Babe Ruth of Japanese baseball

As always please leave your answers in the comments section below and do not use the internet for assistance. Good luck!

Well, 2 could be "hue". Bit of a stretch, though.

Nice job Nichole, Harvey & Michael! I still don't understand eye for #7, but that was the answer.

Ngewo - So close on all of them! :)

Gilahi - Hue probably is a stretch unless that is the mysterious 27th letter!

Sean - for #7, floaters are those black spots that seem to appear and move in your vision - something in the eye's fluid...also referenced in an episode of Family Guy (611).
