Trivia Tuesday: Football Edition

There are icy conditions in part of the Washington DC area today. Therefore, the local television stations show school and government delays and closures on the botton of the screen. With the Federal Government declaring today an Unscheduled Leave day, one of TV stations showed the Federal Government as: Unscheduled Leave / Telework Tuesday. Telework Tuesday? That could be catchy, but Trivia Tuesday is much more fun!

Since it's Super Bowl week, enjoy the football-themed Trivia Tuesday:

1. What state made its Super Bowl-hosting debut with Super Bowl XXX?

2. What is the name of the group that has performed at a record 4 Super Bowl halftime shows?

3. Who scored 2 touchdowns in Super Bowl XIII?

4. According to several players on the field during Super Bowl XXIII, what celebrity did Joe Montana spot in the stands as the final drive began? (Steve Martin; John Candy; Burt Reynolds; or John Belushi)

5. Where did Steelers RB Isaac Redman attend college?

6. How long was Willie Parker’s record TD run in Super Bowl XL?

7. Franco Harris holds numerous career Super Bowl records for rushing. He was only the MVP of one of the Steelers’ Super Bowl triumphs, however. Which one was it?

8. Who is the only player to take part in both a World Series and a Super Bowl?

9. Ben Roethlisberger became the youngest QB to win a Super Bowl. How old was he in Super Bowl XL?

10. Before Qualcomm bought the naming rights, the Chargers home stadium was named after a man named Jack Murphy. What was Murphy’s occupation?

As always please leave your answers in the comments section below and do not use the internet for assistance. Good luck!
