MySpace

Does anyone out there have a MySpace page? The reason I am asking is because I'm wondering if I should get my own. I'm already on Friendster, but I barely use it and don't even have my picture there. At 30, I'm probably outside of the MySpace demographic of high school and college students. I honestly don't want to put much work into it and it would probably be a pretty lame page, but that seems to be the place for all of cool kids. Any thoughts?

I have a MySpace profile mainly because the BBG girls I advise all have them. I really totally think I'm too old to get why MySpace is so cool. I get all sorts of weird friend requests from weird people and to be honest I think the website is not intuitive to navigate. I do like Friendster though.

I've got one, but I hardly use it. I've got a Friendster page that's used slightly more, but not a whole lot much more. With that said, it would've been cool to have this stuff in college. Now, I'm not so sure.

I dunno, I'm not friends with anyone under the age of 30 on my MySpace page -- but I've also put zero work into it. I basically have it as an extra way of contacting people for articles I'm writing. So, as a networking tool, I guess it has been pretty useful. I don't totally get it as a Friendster replacement, but if you want to be friends with Judas Priest, you're only going to get that on MySpace.

Of course, the only reason I bothered with the Friendster profile was a job I had supervising some college students. It really depends on the company you keep.
